The Patagonia R5® Yulex® Regulator® Hooded Full Suit is a hooded full wetsuit designed for extremely cold winter conditions, delivering a high level of insulation while maintaining flexibility and freedom of movement. It is recommended for water temperatures below 7°C / 45°F.

Its zoned-thickness construction uses a flexible blend of 85% Yulex® natural rubber and 15% synthetic rubber by polymer content, eliminating the use of neoprene. The natural rubber comes from sources that are Forest Stewardship Council® certified by Preferred by Nature™.

The interior lining and exterior fabric feature NetPlus®, recycled nylon made from postconsumer material including discarded fishing nets. The fabrics are solution-dyed and laminated using solvent-free AquaA® glue.

The distinctive U-Zip entry system, originally created by AXXE Wetsuits and refined by Patagonia, makes the suit easier to put on while helping reduce water entry. The flexible YKK® #5 coil zipper maintains comfort and freedom of movement, while an extra-long custom pull tab makes opening and closing easier.

The fit has been completely redesigned from hood to ankles, with the aim of providing an excellent combination of thermal performance, comfort and unrestricted movement.

All seams are triple-glued and blindstitched, with flexible internal seam taping. External rubber seals at the wrists and ankles provide a snug fit and help prevent sudden water entry. A convenient key loop completes the functional details.
